The FRESH Market

The FRESH Market is a dynamic and innovative program that matches the productivity of local agriculture with the formidable skills and energy of youth to increase access to healthy whole foods throughout our community.

The prices of the Market are mission-driven; in an effort to have our veggies affordable for all, we allow community members to become mobile market members granting them  a 50% price reduction all season long.

Community Members can become mobile market members through the following 5 ways:

1) Currently live at or are a patient or client at one of our mobile markets stops

2) Use EBT/SNAP,  or other government food subsidy program to make purchases

4) Commit to work 15 (minimum) hours with the FRESH crew at our gardens and farm

5) Donate $150 to the FRESH

The FRESH Market also accepts WIC Checks, Senior Farmers’ Market Vouchers and EBT cards at all of  our Market Stops.

As the Market grows, we will seek to carry the produce of other local farms in order to connect them to New London customers and to widen the selection of fresh seasonal produce that we can offer.

The Mission of the FRESH Market is to increase access to healthy food and healthy choices, with an emphasis on reaching those least served by the current food system and to bring people together through food – creating power, sharing knowledge and breaking down barriers between people.
