Get Involved
Volunteering
Volunteers are crucial to our work at FRESH. There are lots of ways to get involved with FRESH:
- Get your hands dirty at the FRESH Farm or Community Garden Center!
- Help out with Educational Programs for New London schoolchildren!
- Work with FRESH to start a new Community Garden in your neighborhood!
- Teach a workshop or serve as a mentor in our Youth Program!
- Help organize a Mobile Market stop in your New London neighborhood!
- Help get the word out about FRESH and our work!
- Assist in fundraising in your town or community!
People enter the work with a variety of interests, availability and motivations. We strive to match these with appropriate FRESH projects and programs. If you share our goals and are inspired to join our efforts, please don’t hesitate to contact us so we can explore how we can work together to make change in the food system: freshnewlondon@hotmail.com or call Emily at 860-444-8050 ext. 14.
Make a Contribution
Throughout our history, one of the sustaining factors in our success has been support from individual contributors and small groups in the extended community of FRESH New London. We could not have begun this work without the conviction and generosity of a few local supporters. This continues to be a huge source of financial support and one of the cornerstones of our long-term sustainability.
Please consider making a donation today to FRESH and be part of allowing the work of food system transformation to continue one eater at a time!
